Now is the time to unite for world peace and serenity for humanity.
From April 7 to 10, 2026, the Ninth Buddhist Summit was held at the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism and Nalanda Mahavihara, the sacred places for all Buddhists in the world. The conference was attended by Dr. Doudou Diene, Expert to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, together with the supreme Buddhist leaders of 51 countries across the 5 continents, members of Royal Families, honorable guests, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Japan, Consuls General, and cultural figures.
At the opening ceremony, a goodwill message from H.E. Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, was presented.
Now is the time to unite
for world peace and serenity for humanity.
From April 7 to 10, 2026, the Ninth Buddhist Summit was held at the Royal Grand Hall of Buddhism and Nalanda Mahavihara, the sacred places for all Buddhists in the world.
